Welcome to the web site for arborist / author, Vic Foerster!

Vic’s passion for the natural world and for all things “Isle Royale” is contagious and conveyed through his book, Naked in the Stream: Isle Royale Stories.  Foerster’s first book allows readers to experience his thirty years of visits to what many call the gem of the National Park Service.

Naked in the Stream: Isle Royale Stories is called worthy of the Sigurd Olson Award by Jerry Dennis, author of The Living Great Lakes and Tom Springer, Michigan Notable Book Award winner notes that Foerster’s book is written with “rare originality, humor and abiding grace …” .
